The Electoral College is simply the STATES voting to elect the President - of the United STATES. It is an integral part of the Checks and Balance designed into the United States.

State Updates

January 13, 2024 (Update) - With the addition of another Democrat in August, the National Popular Vote scheme has twenty-one (21) Democrat Sponsors in he Senate.  No fiurther action has been scheduled on the bill as of today. The bill, SB-144, is in the Senate Shared Revenue, Elections and Consumer Protection Committee.

April 2023 - Nineteen (19) Senate Democrats have submitted SB-144, the National Popular Vote Compact scheme as of April 5.

February 3, 2022 - To date this session, there have been no bills introduced to join the National Popular Vote scheme, nor any bills that defend the State's rights under the Electoral College.  Wisconsin is at risk of joining the NPV Compact, but we consider it a Low Risk at this time.

February 5, 2022 - ALL of the sponsors of the National Popular Vote Interstate Collusion bill (AB-246) in Wisconsin are unsurprisingly, Democrats.  The NPVIC is one of the most strongly partisan efforts in recent history in this country, despite the NPV sales team's claims to the contrary.

From April 2021 through last month (Jan 2022), the Left has added Democrat Reps Dayle, Shelton, Conley and Moore Omokunde, along with Democrat Senator Johnson, as co-authors or co-sponsors.

April 2021 - On April 8th, Assembly Bill 246 was introduced by Reps Hebl, Neubauer, Anderson, Baldeh, Brostaff, Goyke, Hesslebein, Hintz, Hong, Sinicki, Speitzer, Stubbs, Subeck, and Vruwink.  It is Co-Sponsored by Senators Wirch, Roys, Agard, Carpenter, Ringhand and Larson.  ALL are Democrats.

October 2020 - We expect a push, from the California-based National Popular Vote office, in Wisconsin in early 2021.

AB 185 and SB 197 both FAILED to Pass on 4-01-2020.  But, we believe that the NPVIC office has legislators lined up already to reintroduce their scheme in the 2021-2022 session.

Wisconsin is known as a 'Swing State' in Presidential politics, but it is the type of "Purplish Red State" that the Democrats desperately need if they hope to ever activate their devious popular vote scheme.

Almost always, your letter needs to be 200 to 250 words or less.  Be courteous and simply express your opinion about why you believe that it is in Wisconsin's best interests to remain in control WISCONSIN'S Electoral Votes, and that Wisconsin needs to REJECT the National Popular Vote interstate Compact every time that it is brought up.

Historic News from Wisconsin
From 2022 -

MADISON, WI - 1-26-22  -  HISTORIC!   The Wisconsin Assembly late last night (1/25/22) voted to advance a Resolution to "Reclaim" Wisconsin's 10 Electoral Votes because of fraud that they have found in their November 2020 election.

Is this only ceremonial??

We are not sure that there is any Federal nor Constitutional provision for a State to Reclaim their Votes after they have been cast and certified, so we don't quite grasp the ramifications yet - but this is one to follow!
But there is certainly nothing federally that can stop a State Assembly or Legislature from "RECLAIMING" their Electoral Votes!

At the very least, it would put a Forever Footnote Asterisk in the election of the President in 2020.
This resolution IS in keeping with States' Rights and it affirms that STATES elect Presidents, not the U.S. population.

Stay tuned to this one!!

We don't yet have a Resolution number, but we have been told that the Resolution to Reclaim Wisconsin's Electoral Votes from the 2020 Presidential Election has been sent to the Rules Committee, which must deal with it by 2-04-22..
