Tennessee is at Low Risk of succumbing to the NPVIC scheme. Expect a modest push in the Legislature by the National Popular Vote sales team in January 2021.

State Updates

October 2020 - We expect a moderate push, from the California-based National Popular Vote office, in Tennessee in early 2021.  They have hired a half-dozen highly-paid former Republican State lawmakers and 'consultants' for the express purpose of convincing Republicans that a national popular vote will help their Party specifically.

With a Republican Governor and a solid Republican General Assembly, Tennessee is one of the few Red States that that the Left needs in order get closer to their Collusion Threshold of 270 Electoral Votes to activate the NPVIC Compact.

The National Republican Party stands strongly opposed to the NPVIC scheme in its Party Platform and Tennessee Republicans have a good track record of following the Republican Party Platform.

 Contact Tennessee's General Assembly Members

Demand that they take every action possible to STOP the NPVIC whenever it appears.

Write Letters to Tennessee's Editors

Send Your Letter to the Editor -

Almost always, your letter needs to be 200 to 250 words or less.  You need to include your name, address and phone number - often, staff will call you to verify that you really sent the Letter in.
Be courteous and simply express your opinion about why you believe that it is in Tennessee's best interests to remain in control TENNESSEE's Electoral Votes, and that Tennessee needs to REJECT the National Popular Vote interstate Compact every time that it is brought up.
