NPVIC Status

State Updates

January 2024 (Update): - There has been no activity in New hampshire the past couple years. NH gets tempted by the highly-paid National Popular Vote lobbyists, but so far in this session there has been no movement.

October 2020 - We expect a push from the California-based National Popular Vote office, in New Hampshire in early 2021.

There is no NPVIC Bill introduced yet in New Hampshire in the current session, although New Hampshire is an excellent example of a "Purple" State, which is what the Democrats desperately need if they hope to ever activate their devious popular vote scheme.

Thankfully, Governor Sununu has stated his strong public opposition to the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact scheme. So far, he presents an effective block against the Democrat-controlled General Court (Legislature) of New Hampshire.

The NPVIC Bill, HB541 is still pending under study in the House Election Law Committee.

Demand that they take every action possible to STOP the NPVIC whenever it appears.

Almost always, your letter needs to be 200 to 250 words or less. Be courteous and simply express your opinion about why you believe that it is in New Hampshire's best interests to remain in control NEW HAMPSHIRE's Electoral Votes, and that New Hampshire needs to REJECT the National Popular Vote interstate Compact every time that it is brought up.
