North DakotaApril 14, 2021 - The House made some pretty dramatic changes to SB-2271, basically eliminating the part about withholding the popular vote total, and instead, the House would simply issue a statement that they thing the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is unwise, urging Congress to (somehow) act to stop it.
The bill went back to the Senate, which just voted to reject the House-passed version. The Bill versions - which are wildly different - now goes to a Conference Committee for an attempt at reconciliation. 2/28/21 - GREAT NEWS! Bill SB-2271 has PASSED the Senate!
