In January 2019, a Democrat Senator introduced SB 212 in the Senate. It was referred to the Senate Elections Committee and has not moved since then.

State Updates

October 2020 - We expect a push, from the California-based National Popular Vote office, and Indiana may well be in their sights in early 2021.

In order to reach their self-activation goal where the 19 or 20 Compact States agree to activate their plan, the Left will need one or two Red States, and Indiana is just such a State.

The self-activation goal is 270 Voted signed on to the NPVIC Contract.  They currently have 196 signed on, so they are 73% of the way toward activating their collusion agreement.
