State UpdatesJanuary 13, 2024 - The only action in New Jersey is an all-imporant National Popu;ar Vote REPEAL bill. The bill simply withdraws New Jersey from the NPV collusion scheme. We STRONGLY support this bill, which in this new 2023-2025 session, is bill A-379. January 2022 - On January 11th, three Republican Representatives have introduced Bill A-139 for the 2022-2023 Legislative Session. This Bill, if passed, simply REPEALS New Jersey's participation in the dangerous National Popular Vote Interstate Collusion scheme. WE STRONGLY SUPPORT THIS BILL, as does the Republican Party National Platform! The three sponsors of this great Bill so far are Harold Wirths - R-Sparta, Parker Space - R-Allamuchy, and Robert Auth - R-Haskell. March 2022 - Senators Michael Doherty, (R) and Steven Oroho, (R) have sponsored the SB-2252 in the Senate that will repeal the NPV Bill that New Jersey has passed. November 2020 - NEW JERSEY has been a part of the scheme to collude with other States by using a "national" popular vote compact almost since Day One of their campaign. Governor Jon Corzine signed the pact in January 2008, making NJ the 2nd State (after Maryland) to be part of the collusion. We believe in miracles, but otherwise we don't believe that New Jersey lawmakers will ever want the people of New Jersey to be in control of NEW JERSEY's Electoral Votes again. New Jersey SHOULD Repeal their participation in this scheme. The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact scheme CHANGES these United States DRAMATICALLY - from the Federation of States that it has been since 1788 and much closer to becoming the monolithic democracy that our Founders - and ALL of our States - intended the Federation to NOT be. |
