Checks & Balances include not only the three Federal Branches of Government, but also the STATE Governments themselves are the designed counterweight to a runaway Federal Government!

State Updates

01-07-2022 -  Rep. Christopher Rabb, D-Philadelphia, re-introduced HB-270, the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact scheme.  The bill has been assigned to the House Government State Government Committee.  It has THIRTY-ONE (31) Sponsors, all Democrats.

December 2020 - We expect a big push from the California-based National Popular Vote office in Pennsylvania in early 2021.

As of early December, the NPVIC Bill is now pending in both the Senate and the House, after Rep. Chris Rabb introduced the National Popular Vote interstate Compact scheme in the House.

In July 2019, 7 Democrat Senators introduced the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact Bill. It has been held up in the Senate State Government Committee since then.  We expect a new Bill to be reintroduced in the new Legislature in January.

PA is a high-value target for the NPV office, based in northern California, to win over.  They desperately need "Purple" States to be able to activate their scheme, and PA's large number of Electors would draw them much closer to their objective.

Apparently, the Electoral College is not "Fair Enough"!

In the News ...

HARRISBURG, 11-19-2020  -  National Popular Vote Bill Introduced in Pennsylvania Legislature.  By Rep. Christopher Rabb, Pennsylvania House of Representatives

HARRISBURG, 9-25-2020 - Legislature considers naming Pennsylvania's slate of Electors if the statewide popular vote remains in doubt.  SpotlightPA

Total Baloney, In Our Humble Opinion!

“I’m pleased to introduce the National Popular Vote legislation to prevent the chaos created by our current system of electing the president,” said Rabb. “I invite all my colleagues — from progressive to conservative — to join me in co-sponsoring the bill. With the National Popular Vote for president, we can avoid needless runoffs, avoid unfounded charges of fraud or suppression, and eliminate the need for the courts to pick presidents.”   - Rep. Christopher Rabb, Nov 19, 2020

Almost always, your letter needs to be 200 to 250 words or less.  Be courteous and simply express your opinion about why you believe that it is in Pennsylvania's best interests to remain in control PENNSYLVANIA's Electoral Votes, and that Pennsylvania needs to REJECT the National Popular Vote interstate Compact every time that it is brought up.
