State UpdatesFebruary 2023 - So far in 2023, there has been no legislative movement in Louisiana regarding the Electoral College nor the National Popular Vote scheme. November2020 - We expect a push, from the California-based National Popular Vote office, however they are likely to spare Louisiana as they move on Purple States first in 2021, where they believe they have a better chance of winning. Because of Louisiana's current State government make-up and the pretty strong feelings of independence and States' Rights believed in by most of Louisiana's citizens, we feel that Louisiana is a sound and solid Electoral College State, not likely at risk of joining the dangerous NPVIC collusion contract. |
