It is considered, as usual, a highly partisan bill. May 23, 2022 - The Legislative EXPIRED on May 23rd and with it so did the two National Popular Vote bills! Each died in Committee. April 2022 - Both the House and the Senate NPVIC bills have been held up in respective Committees since February 2021. February 2021 - Democrats have introduced the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact scheme into the House of Representatives in Kansas. It is HB-2002. Democrats have also now introduce National Popular Vote scheme Bill SB-188 in the Senate. Kansas is still currently classified as a sovereign Electoral College State, however, it is at Low Risk of joining the devious Agreement. We do not expect a lot of movement by Lawmakers in Kansas to give away the control of Kansas' Votes for President to people who are not even from Kansas! |
