NPVIC StatusThink about it ...Based in the November 2020 actual election results - - In the Federal Electoral College system, provided in the Constitution since 1789, VERMONT's voice in choosing the President of the United STATES is 0.56% (3 Votes out of 538 Votes). Lawmakers in Vermont, however, have REDUCED the voice of Vermonters back in 2011 to a super tiny 0.2% (367,428 popular votes out of a staggering 158,399,926)!! How is THAT Good Public Policy?! |
State UpdatesJanuary 2024 (Update): There is no movement that we can detect by anyone in Vermont to try to reclaim the control of VERMONT's Votes!! December 2020 - VERMONT has been a part of the scheme to collude with other States by using a "national popular vote" compact since 2011, when it became the 8th State to join. We believe in miracles, but otherwise we don't believe that current Vermont lawmakers will want the people of Delaware to be in control of VERMONT's Electoral Votes again. Vermont SHOULD Repeal their participation in this scheme. The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact scheme CHANGES these United States DRAMATICALLY - from the Federation of States that it has been since 1788 and much closer to becoming the monolithic democracy that our Founders - and ALL of our States - intended the Federation to NOT be. |
